Conservation and Restoration of Wooden Artefact 1
It is aimed that the students associate this information with the workshop training they received and create an awareness on this issue. Six seminars of 3 hours each are planned under the headings of “wooden artefacts and their manufacture methods” and “conservation and restoration of wooden artefact”. Students will gain basic information about the history of wooden heritage, historical buildings where wood carving and kündekari arts are applied, furniture and the construction processes of similar works at the wooden artefacts and their manufacture methods seminars. Students will learn about the conservation approach, restoration practices and case studies for carved and kündekari wooden works at the conservation and restoration of wooden artefact seminars.
